It's now been a week since we spent a day at Cabrillo National Monument in San Diego. I'm still catching up because 1) I spent several days immediately following this at a sales conference generally working 12-16 hours a day and 2) there's so much to share.

Visiting the tide pools at Cabrillo National Monument (see previous blog, "Barnacles Galore!") was fun even if they were a bit crowded. Still, it was possible to enjoy moments of relative solitude. It was simply a matter of perspective. ...Photographic perspective, in this case.

Our visit to Cabrillo National Monument last weekend, which we thought might be just an hour or two long, see-it-and-leave thing, turned into several hours of walking amid beautiful scenery.
